1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Player," or "you") and NeuralNet LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), governing your access to and use of the Aeonfall video game, website, software updates, downloadable content, and related services (collectively, the "Game").
By purchasing, downloading, installing, accessing, or playing Aeonfall, you represent that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Game.
2. End User License Agreement (EULA)
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, NeuralNet LLC grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to download, install, and play one copy of the Game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, distribute, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Game or any part thereof.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the Game, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Game without express written consent.
- Bypass, circumvent, or disable any digital rights management (DRM), anti-cheat mechanisms, or security measures.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
The Game—including all code, artwork, audio, narrative dialogue, visual characters, mechanics, UI, trademarks, and logos—is the exclusive proprietary property of NeuralNet LLC and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by NeuralNet LLC.
4. Content Creation & Streaming Policy
NeuralNet LLC encourages players to stream, record videos, and create reviews or guides of Aeonfall on platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and Kick. You are permitted to monetize such content through platform partner programs and sponsorships, provided your videos include personal commentary or gameplay and do not distribute raw unedited game files or soundtrack rips.
5. User Conduct & Community Guidelines
When participating in our community spaces (such as the official Discord or Steam Community Hub), you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or defame other players or developers.
- Distribute malware, phishing links, or unauthorized modifications designed to exploit the game.
- Impersonate NeuralNet LLC staff, moderators, or affiliates.
6. Third-Party Platforms (Steam)
The Game is distributed primarily through Valve Corporation's Steam platform. Your purchase and access are also governed by the Steam Subscriber Agreement. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Steam policies regarding distribution or refunds, Steam's terms shall control for platform-specific transactions.
7. Updates & Patches
We may deploy mandatory patches, bug fixes, content balancing, or balance overhauls to enhance game performance. You acknowledge that features, progression balance, or mechanics may change over time without prior liability.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE GAME IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE PERFORMANCE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEURALNET LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR INABILITY TO ACCESS THE GAME.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located within that jurisdiction.
